Then in the next batch there is “eleven”, 3 syllables, “twelve” 1 syllable, then on to the “teens”. (with another clumsy “seventeen”). Let’s fix this. Don’t care how.
Then we can work on “W” in the alphabet, the ONLY letter with 3 damn syllables, and people even pronounce those differently. It ain’t a “doubleyoo” If anything, it looks like a “doublevee”.
