Jimbo is an artist who strives to push the envelope of what is possible on a skateboard, helmet, or any surface and continues to do so in a fluid yet eye catching style. Keep your eyes peeled for Jimbo’s graphic assault

In 1990 Jimbo started his own graphic art business for skateboard companies, designing logos for local surf shops, and silk-screening t-shirts and posters for local punk and metal bands. All You Need is Love: March 31, 2012–July 29, 2012

This museum-wide exhibition will invite visitors to explore the many ways that love is manifest in our everyday lives. The artworks and historical objects will reflect everything from passionate love stories to love gone wrong to the fierce love between mother and child. The exhibition will include extraordinary artworks by over thirty artists including Joan Brown, Younhee Paik, and Raymond Saunders, as well as historic love letters, wedding dresses, and objects of affection from the Museum of Art & History’s permanent collection. Visitors will be able to express their own passions through a series of interactive and participatory activities that invite people to share their own stories of glory and defeat in the realm of the heart.

Live music by The Coffis Brothers and The Mountain Men, an original rock and roll band comprised of five young men from the Santa Cruz Mountains. The brothers play a throwback style of rock and roll in a classic 5 piece format.
