The most creative Halloween costume party in Santa Cruz!
Drape yourself in art (or whatever costume you have handy!)and come down to the museum for a night of music, dancing, pumpkin bowling, and more. Pick your poison of unearthly delights, groove until your bones rattle, and dabble in twisted carnival games all evening long. DJ Speed will play soul, funk and dance music all night long. Deth Bethlehem will improvise a spooky mix of moving beats and invite you to tell your scary story in the sculpture garden. Check out photographs from last year’s Wearable Art Ball here.
Tickets can be purchased here .
This is a 21+ event with a cash bar with wine, beer, and signature drinks.
Cost: $20 General, $15 MAH Members.
This Fourth of July, the Museum will be open to celebrate our shared natural history, inspire stewardship, and distribute supplies for beach-goers. We will have a BBQ with meat and veggie dogs, lemonade, and firewood available for purchase. Our Museum store also has great beach items for sale. We will hand out trash bags and encourage stewardship of Seabright Beach. There will be paper crafts for kids (including paper firecrackers!) and we’ve heard that local historical legends, Laura Hecox and Old Man Neary, will be there. Don’t miss it!
