Watsonville Youth City Council Meeting

Learn about issues that are important to youth: 34% of Watsonville’s population. Hear innovative ideas about how to generate revenue for the city, support schools and reduce crime. Bring your ideas about how young people can have an impact on our community.

The results from the Watsonville Youth Safety Survey in which more than 300 teens participated will be presented at the meeting. The Watsonvile Youth City Council members attended Crime Prevention Summit and have gathered ideas from youth about how to keep our streets safe.

The meeting will be televised live on Community TV and conducted by Mayor, Dulce Sixtos, a sophomore at Ceiba High and Vice-Mayor, Alvaro Zamora, a senior at Pajaro Valley High School. Other council members are representing high schools throughout Watsonville.
