Outdoor Business Training Seminar

October 29, 2016, 9:00am - October 30, 2016, 7:00pm

This program is for both existing outdoor guides and business owners, as well as those new to the field and aspiring to run their own program. Hone your skills, learn our methodologies behind the programs we teach, and learn the Adventure Out system and business model so that you can begin to run your own programs and teach others with success and a consistent client base. Adventure Out has gone open source – we will be sharing everything we’ve learned in the past decade with you to raise the level of professionalism in the outdoor industry. Each guide training course will contain information that is applicable to any adventure business, regardless of the activities your business offers (or will offer). Roughly 40% of the workshop is activity-based and discusses programming structure and setup, as well as working with people in the outdoors in a safe and professional manner. While 60% focuses more on business practices & successful adventure program operation. In short, anyone can benefit from this program and with hard work, can use the skills and information shared here to start their own business, or continue operating an existing one with more success and sustainable practices.
